An open look was achieved by using spaces in the boards, alternating a wide board with three small ones in a pattern. The fence was kept low and capped with a two by six, so as to offer sufficient room for placing a cup of coffee as you chat with neighbors.The entryway trellis is ready for training a beautiful climbing rose over it’s top, and should the owner decide to later add a gate, it is ready for that as well.
