This kitchen had a buckling wood floor with nailed on linoleum, peeling wallpaper, and an aging formica counter. We tiled the floor into the adjoining bathroom and converted the hinged door to a pocket door to create more room in the small bathroom.
We tiled the counter and the backsplash, as well as up the wall behind and next to the stove.
The walls were textured and a small halogen light was installed over the sink to provide light at the sink area.
